# User settings

> Personal account, security, and identity settings.

## Overview

Your personal settings live in the central workspace portal. Two areas matter most for security: **Profile** and **Security**.

## Profile

Use the profile page to manage your account details.

* **Name and email**: Update the personal details associated with your account
* **Password**: Change your password when password login is enabled for your account

## Security

Use the security page to manage how you sign in and how your identity links to workspaces.

* **Two factor authentication**: Enable or disable 2FA, view setup details, and regenerate recovery codes
* **Passkeys**: Register and remove passkeys for passwordless sign in
* **Personal API keys**: Create and revoke user scoped keys. Keys can be restricted to specific workspaces.
* **Linked VCS accounts**: Link or unlink GitHub, GitLab, and Bitbucket identities used for automatic workspace linking and security confirmation

Some security actions require password confirmation or identity confirmation before changes are saved.
